Bicicletta elettrica pieghevole ADO A20+

This bike isn’t what I expected. I’ve been complaining still not resolved

I am happy with the purchase of the ADO A20+ Folding Electric Bike. Meets my expectations and is very comfortable. The only problem is the lack of proof of purchase or invoice and warranty document. Is it possible to obtain such documents?

I am thoroughly impressed with my ADO A20+ EU version electric bike. From the moment I ordered it, the delivery process was seamless, with easy tracking and timely updates on the package's status. The packaging was also impressive, and I appreciated the stress test video that ADO provided on YouTube to ensure the product's protection during transit.

The EU version was my choice due to concerns about UK laws, and I was happy to learn that this version is fully road legal in the EU, which was a significant factor in my decision to purchase it. Additionally, the ado site clearly state that the international version is for private land only as the EU is road legal. This bike ticked the box of not bringing too much attention as the fat tyre bike would and if inspected is fully legal and not face a £300 fine and 6 points on my licence.

Maintenance was also a consideration, and the ADO A20+ EU version won out over other options because parts are readily available in local bike shops, with other parts available for direct order from ADO. The bike's compact size was also a bonus, as it fits in the boot of my car will take some getting use to storing, customers have put good reviews. Bike included all the parts which all as do as advertised. Return and warranty are standard, and customers have put good reviews.

Assembly was straightforward (my first bike build), and the build quality is impressive with not a scratch on the bike, with a sturdy frame that I don't have to worry about damaging. The seat is comfortable as far as saddles go, and the suspension is good, providing a smooth ride. seat suspension is good support. The electric assist is really helpful, particularly when going uphill, and it provides support. The take-off is a bit slow however this may be more me than the bike as I have not used bikes for a few years so will take some getting used to. No throttle on this one to shoot off as fun as those sounds. One question I had was the type of plug, EU model is the standard UK plug. Ado provides clear and easy to follow YouTube videos on how to build and general repairs.

Riding the bike for the first time was a pleasant experience, and it handles like any other bike, with the assist kicking in after a certain speed. While it's not a sports bike, it works well for general riding, and I'm glad I can take it with me on family trips.

Not a motorbike so does need a bit of peddling to reach a comfortable speed, this is the EU version, so speed is locked down which I’m OK with as I want it to be road legal. It’s not a sports bike but for general ridding it works well from what I see so far. I missed out on many occasions of bike riding simply because I would not bring a bike with me in the car. Now I can fit 2 kids, the wife pram and a bike in the boot.

The look of this bike is great, I originally was looking at some e- bikes in Halfords and did not fancy the look of and a outside battery. Also looked at some others online, so in comparison to apollo, Miridder and Engwee Folding E-bikes this bike for me came out on top in terms of price, look, maintenance, customer service size and road legal.
Storing and folding the bike was a bit tricky at first and because the bike does not clip it can be challenging but I think with time this will get easier.

The bike's design is sleek and modern, and I appreciate the effort that went into making it look good.

Things I did not like about the bike but not a deal breaker and still a lot better than other bikes, the battery lock is at the bottom however key is secure similar how a car key locks in place when you start it. This bike is also heavy, Ok to lift to put in a car and store in a house. If you take to work, make sure the lifts are working.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase, and I think the ADO A20+ EU version electric bike is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a well-built, easy-to-maintain electric bike that is road legal and doesn't attract too much attention. While it may be a bit heavy, it's still easy to lift and store, and I look forward to using it regularly in the future and time will tell in the long run.

Really happy with the Ado A20+. Had originally ordered a Himo Z20 but it was out of stock and offered an Ado A20+ instead. It is really great bike, very well put together and feels like a quality bike for really good value.

Use it for commuting on the train into London, folds up in the back of my car and then folded again on the train. I’m 6ft 2in and it fits me fine as you can adjust the seat height which has a long tube as well as the handlebar tube (unlike Himo). The bike also comes with seat suspension and front forks so makes travelling over uneven roads more comfortable. Saddle is also well padded. The motor kicks in really easily and accelerates really well and makes the journey so easy.

Customer service has been superb, it came with metal fenders but was expecting the more sporty plastic fenders and they offered to send straight out free of charge.

Only negative it is quite heavy but to be expected for a an E-bike.

I purchased the A20+ as I liked the look of the bike plus the addition of the separate light and horn switch as displayed on the website. I was quite disappointed when the bike arrived with a bell and no horn and struggled to switch on the light as this was not included in the instructions.

Overall I am quite happy with the bikes I purchased but the company needs to update its website and advise customers as to what might be different if they choose to purchase

ADO A20+ Folding Electric Bike

My first electric bike has not disappointed…got it all set up…go-fast helmet…
An 80th Birthday present to ME!!!!. The ADO is a nice bit of engineering and quality…I would recommend to all 60’s Mods…quicker than a Vespa!
..and goes in the boot of my Aston!

I received the bike in 2 days well packaged and very easy to assemble. I rode the bike to work everyday, super comfortable and very practical. I would defenatly buy an ado bike again!

Some room of improvement in my opinion for nex versions:

Weight: it is a bit heavy
Foldability: easy to fold but it is loose when folded and not easy to carry. Would have been great to magnets or another solution to lock it when folded. Another point the cable under the hinge sometimes get blocked withh the hinge when unfolding (this may brake the cables at some point). I forgot the key in and folded the bike the cable bended to key.
Fanally bcz it is heavy it would amazing to find an easy way to carry it or roll it on the wheels to move it arround.

I am being picky its just that I really loved the service and the bike itself

Excelente bicicleta ( ADO A20+), realmente funciona de maravilla y estéticamente es muy bonita. Me llegó un poco golpeado un gardabarros por algun golpe en el transporte y me enviaron otro rápidamente . Todo excelente, gracias

Ordered combo deal of a20+. I can honestly say these bike's are fantastic. Well put together. I have ours set in the 5 mode option with 4/5 being throttle only. Done 25 uk miles today in cold, windy conditions and the bike works a breeze. I find mode 2 works well, about 12 mph and if I slow a little for a hill or headwind, you instantly feel the motor helping out. Not had that long but so far, very, very pleased.
